In this context, Civic Education (PKn) plays an essential role in fostering civic technology skills (Civic Tech Skills) to enable citizens to participate actively and responsibly in digital spaces. This study employs a qualitative approach by analyzing various literature sources and relevant social phenomena. The findings show that Civic Education not only provides political knowledge but also nurtures critical thinking, democratic values, and practical skills for digital interaction, particularly through social media. By integrating civic values with technological utilization, this education helps the younger generation express their aspirations, engage in political discussions, and contribute to building an inclusive and adaptive society in response to contemporary developments. PKn aims not only to instill an understanding of laws and norms, but also to develop character, integrity, responsibility, and social empathy. This renewal process involves innovations in orientation, methods, and learning practices that are more contextual and interactive, and capable of increasing social awareness and active student involvement in national life. There is a close relationship between the revitalization of Civics and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) because both share the same goal: building a peaceful, just, inclusive, and sustainable society. Civics plays a crucial role in helping achieve several SDG goals, such as quality education, reducing inequality, addressing climate change, and strengthening global peace and cooperation. Through an approach that emphasizes civic engagement, Civics encourages students not only to understand their rights and obligations but also to actively participate in social, political, and environmental issues. The choice of the theme of revitalizing Civics (PKn) to increase civic engagement in the SDGs movement is based on the challenge of declining community participation, especially among the younger generation, who are becoming indifferent to national issues. Furthermore, the development of digitalization has changed moral values and nationalism, so Civics must adapt to create critical and responsible digital citizens. With the revitalization of Civics based on the values of Pancasila and the spirit of the SDGs, education can function as a transformative force in shaping a generation of quality, critical thinkers, empathizers, and committed to peace and social justice both at the national and global levels.
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Muhamad Mustain Nasoha, Afifah Nur Khusna, Nayla Damayantihttps://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/208Civic Responsibility di Era Krisis Iklim: Integrasi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dengan Kesadaran Lingkungan2025-10-26T05:39:19+00:00Ahmad Muhamad Mustain Nasohamustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idYahya Fadhlullah Murtajayahyaroyal14@gmail.comRidwan Alvin Saputraridwanras204@gmail.comAfif Abdus Syakurafifabdus04@gmail.comFaa’iz Zainul Muttaqinfaaizzainulmuttaqin@gmail.com
The climate crisis is a global issue that demands everyone to take a role and take action towards the environment for its sustainability. However, this development has also brought serious challenges, one of which is the phenomenon of hate speech. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of digital citizenship and the patterns of hate speech dissemination on social media, focusing on a case study among adolescents. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with several teenagers, online participatory observation, and content analysis of conversations on social media platforms. The results of the study show that the patterns of hate speech dissemination among adolescents vary, ranging from discriminatory comments, identity-based mockery, to cyberbullying. These patterns are often driven by psychological and social factors, such as anonymity, peer pressure, lack of understanding of digital ethics, and the influence of provocative viral content. The study also found a gap between adolescents’ theoretical understanding of digital citizenship and their daily practices on social media. They tend to perceive the digital space as a consequence-free arena, which reduces their sense of moral responsibility. Thus, this research concludes that the phenomenon of hate speech among adolescents is not merely a technical issue but a reflection of the challenges in building a substantive awareness of digital citizenship. The implication is that a holistic approach involving formal education, parental roles, and platform regulation is needed to equip teenagers with strong digital literacy and a responsible expression ethic.
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Muhamad Mustain Nasoha, Elsya Novitasari Anggraini, Ziadatul Latifah, Erma Nur Fitriyanihttps://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/210Analisis Kritis Peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Mencegah Cyber Radicalism di Kalangan Gen Z2025-10-26T12:29:31+00:00Ahmad Muhamad Mustain Nasohamustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idNazila Riskiya Putrinazila1280@gmail.comYesha Renata Andyne Ryesharenata997@gmail.comRahmania Nur Aslamirniana18@gmail.comAwalia Rindu Az Zahrazahraawalia91@gmail.com
Civic education (PKn) plays a strategic role in shaping civil awareness and democratic values among the younger generation, particularly Generation Z, who were born in the digital era. Therefore, integrating civic values into the digital curriculum is an important step toward fostering a culture of personal data protection among university students. This study aims to analyze the influence of civic education on students’ awareness of personal data protection in the digital space. The growing intensity of students’ online activities has made personal data increasingly vulnerable to misuse, while privacy awareness remains relatively low. Civic education is considered to play a strategic role in fostering values of responsibility, ethics, and understanding of citizens’ rights and obligations, including in the digital context. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, and then examined using thematic analysis techniques. The research subjects were active university students from various faculties who had completed the civic education course and actively used digital platforms. The findings reveal that civic education has a positive influence on students’ awareness of personal data protection. Digital literacy serves as the main mediating factor that strengthens this relationship, while digital social norms also have an effect, although to a lesser extent. Furthermore, differences were found in the level of awareness between students from technology-related and non-technology-related majors. Overall, this study emphasizes that data privacy issues should be integrated into the civic education curriculum to cultivate a generation of students who are critical, aware, and responsible in protecting their personal data in the digital era.
2025-10-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Intan Noraziza Makinghttps://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/216Peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Membentuk AI Literacy dan Etika Digital Mahasiswa di Era Artificial Intelligence2025-10-27T06:18:41+00:00Ahmad Muhamaad Mustain Nasohamustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idGiral Ilham Bagus Pramudiansyahgiralilhambagus@gmail.comAbi Pradanaabipradana430@gmail.comFajar Imam Syafeiimamsyafeifajar@gmail.comMuhamad Nafiuidin Al Hasanimnafi14327@gmail.com
The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has presented ethical challenges and new digital literacy for the world of higher education. In conclusion, the implementation of the Pancasila Economy will be more effective if the government and the private sector work together in a balanced manner, supporting each other in creating equitable and sustainable development.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Muhammad Mustain Nasoha, Sinta Cahya Amelia, Dini Kairiya Hasna, Livia Septiana, Rindu Anggriani https://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/253Implementasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Kebijakan Ekonomi Nasional oleh Kemenko Perekonomian2025-11-05T12:46:12+00:00Sabrina Royani Azharilitera.academica@gmail.comDevina Azzahra Islamiyahmustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idNiarti Setyaningsihmustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idLintang Ikhlas Akmal Al-Khosyimustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
Pancasila, as the foundation of the state and the ideology of the Indonesian nation, plays an important role in guiding development policies, including in the economic sector. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila's values in national economic policies formulated by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature studies, analysis of official government documents, and reviews of strategic policies such as the Medium-Term National Development Plan (RPJMN), Special Economic Zones (KEK), and economic equality programs. The results show that the values of social justice, unity, and the principle of kinship are reflected in policies that ensure equitable access to resources, empower MSMEs, and develop new economic growth centers in the regions. However, challenges such as regional inequality, the dominance of global investment interests, and limited implementation at the regional level remain obstacles. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that although the implementation of Pancasila values in national economic policies has been ongoing, there is a need for strengthened regulations, public participation, and government consistency to ensure the equitable distribution of development benefits. This research contributes to providing an academic perspective on the relevance of Pancasila as a normative guide for national economic policies.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Sabrina Royani Azhari, Devina Azzahra Islamiyah, Niarti Setyaningsih, Lintang Ikhlas Akmal Al-Khosyihttps://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/257Revitalisasi Pendidikan Pancasila untuk Generasi Z: Antara Literasi Digital dan Identitas Kebangsaan2025-11-06T13:29:25+00:00Sheylla Otta Lady Ramadhanialitera.academica@gmail.comDewi Sulistyawatimustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idMiftakhul An-nisa Rohmawatunmustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
Pancasila education as a means of internalizing national values faces new challenges in the digital era, marked by shifts in communication patterns, information consumption, and identity formation among youth. Generation Z, as “digital natives,” possesses high digital literacy but is susceptible to fragmented national identity due to exposure to global content. This study aims to explore how the revitalization of Pancasila education can balance digital literacy and the reinforcement of national identity for Generation Z. The research employs a qualitative multi-case study design in three urban secondary schools, involving in-depth interviews with students and teachers, observations of pedagogical practices, and analysis of curriculum documents. Findings reveal that successful Pancasila teaching strategies include (1) integration of digital-based project materials, (2) use of social media and interactive platforms as a medium for reflecting on national values, and (3) facilitation of critical dialogue between students’ digital experiences and Pancasila values. However, obstacles such as insufficient teacher competence in digital literacy, curricular resistance, and technological access disparity emerge. The study concludes that revitalizing Pancasila education for Generation Z requires adaptive curriculum design, digital literacy training for educators, and cross-stakeholder collaboration so that value education retains relevance in the digital context.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Sheylla Otta Lady Ramadhania, Dewi Sulistyawati, Miftakhul An-nisa Rohmawatunhttps://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/260Manajemen Humas dalam Penguatan Karakter Peserta Didik melalui Kolaborasi Sekolah dan Orang Tua di Madrasah Aliyah 03 Al-Ma’arif2025-11-07T08:11:25+00:00Ainur Rovi Atur Rohmahmustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idAhmad Irsyahriyan Filibrizadaruluzlah0514@gmail.comAnggun Sadiya Aurellia Ghanilitera.academica@gmail.comAbdul Majidlitera.academica@gmail.comRofiq Hidayatlitera.academica@gmail.com
This study is motivated by the important role of school public relations in establishing effective communication between the school and parents, especially in strengthening the character of students at madrasah aliyah. The urgency of this research arises from challenges posed by the digital era and globalization, which have caused moral decline and character crises among adolescents. Therefore, collaboration between the school and parents becomes a crucial strategy to reinforce values such as religiosity, discipline, responsibility, and integrity in students. This study aims to analyze the management of school public relations in building harmonious and productive relationships with parents, as well as to examine the implementation of collaboration in supporting character education programs at madrasah aliyah. The research uses a qualitative approach with a field research design. Informants were selected purposively and include the head of the madrasah, teachers, public relations staff, and representatives of students' parents. Data collection was done through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, followed by descriptive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that public relations management at madrasah aliyah plays a strategic role as the key liaison in designing, organizing, and implementing collaborative programs with parents. This collaboration involves intensive communication through parent forums, parenting programs, character reinforcement based on religious activities, and joint supervision of student behavior at home and school. The collaboration has a positive impact on character formation, seen in increased discipline, social concern, and responsibility among students. Thus, this study confirms that strengthening students' character depends not only on the school but also requires active parental involvement through effective public relations management.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Abdul Majid, Ahmad Irsyahriyan Filibriza, Ainur Rovi Atur Rohmah, Anggun Sadiya Aurellia Ghani, Rofiq Hidayathttps://litera-academica.com/ojs/litera/article/view/261Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai Strategi Counter Disinformation di Era Post-Truth2025-11-08T05:31:25+00:00Ahmad Muhammad Mustain Nasohalitera.academica@gmail.comZahra Dwi Pusparinimustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idHikma Paujiamustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idVera Dewi Saputrimustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.idHanifa Anan mustain.nasoha@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
The development of digital technology has magnified the phenomenon of disinformation, giving birth to the post-truth era, where emotions and personal beliefs influence public opinion more strongly than objective facts, creating a flood of false information (hoaxes) that is difficult to distinguish from the truth. In this era, truth no longer relies on facts, but on subjective perspectives. Hoaxes and fake news are spread widely through social media, making it difficult for people to distinguish between valid news and what is not. To deal with this phenomenon, citizenship education must build moral intelligence and character in the nation's generation. By teaching values such as critical and rational thinking, being responsible, being intelligent and making good use of information technology, citizenship education can help people become more aware and more selective in receiving information. Therefore, citizenship education must be an integral part of efforts to combat disinformation and hoaxes, as well as build the morals and character of a better generation of the nation.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Muhammad Mustain Nasoha, Zahra Dwi Pusparini, Hikma Paujia, Vera Dewi Saputri, Hanifa Anan
